One Beeper Desktop, depending on your setup, you can glimpse the Unread Badge Count in two different ways.

How does the Badge Count work?

Setup A:

Setup A will take place if you have the Spaces Sidebar hidden. The unread badge count will consist of the total number of unread non-muted rooms or rooms with mentions that are not shown in Inbox.

Setup B:

Setup B will take place if you have the Spaced Sidebar open. The unread badge count will consist of the total number of unread non-muted rooms or rooms with mentions in each space set to “Do not show in Inbox”.

Home screen and Dock badge count

The unread badge count will consist of the number of rooms to contribute to the unread badge count marked as “Show in Inbox”.
