Why can't I search for Beeper on Windows?

TL;DR: Beeper might not show up in Windows Search because it’s installed in a folder that Windows doesn’t index by default. You can fix this by creating a shortcut or pinning Beeper manually.


Why can't I search for Beeper on Windows?

Sometimes, Beeper doesn’t appear in Windows Search because it’s not installed in a location indexed by Windows by default.

Workaround

You can still easily access Beeper by doing one of the following:

  1. Go to the install location: %AppData%\Roaming\BeeperTexts
  2. Find the Beeper.exe file.
  3. Do any of the following:
    1. Create a desktop shortcut.
    2. Pin Beeper to your taskbar.
    3. Add it to the Start menu.
